Twinkle, Twinkle Little Phoenix
I’ll admit that there are a lot of things that are hard about being mother of 2, chief among them is the sleep. Not just the lack of sleep but the preparation to sleep. 6 weeks ago Shawn or I would announce we were sleepy & we’d get in bed. If Phoenix wasn’t quite ready we’d start a movie on Netflix until he was. But now by 7 pm I’m ready to be asleep, but there is so much prep work & a lot of times it can be stressful & chaotic.
Music is a big part of our life for obvious reasons & someone is always singing or making music or writing music. Music & singing can be such a calming thing that I have decided to add it to our new nighttime routine. Whether its singing while Phoenix brushes his teeth or while we are trying to calm Caspian down.
